Azerbaijan has been in focus of our activities since 2010. Some of its regions (e.g. Talysh and Great Caucasus) are extremely rich in relict trees. However, the country has much more to offer: multicultural and multilingual society, breathtaking landscapes, unique geology and rare plants and animals. Due to our intensive collaboration with the Azerbaijan National Academy of Science (ANAS) and the Hirkan National Park, we could visit the country many times between 2010 and 2015 (Talysh Mountains, Absheron Peninsula, Gobustan, Shirvan National Park, Great Caucasus, etc.). The selected pictures below show only a very samall part of our collection counting now more than 10,000 photographs and film sequences.
